The reasons for seeking counselling are as varied as the people who come to see me. Be it to help deal with the struggle based in the ‘here and now’ and challenging life circumstances, through to coping with past traumas and painful memories.

Experience and research show that counselling can help people understand themselves, make positive changes and deal differently with challenging situations and feelings.

There is no magic wand or quick fix for how we may be feeling, however positive solutions can be found when provided with a warm, non-judgmental and trusting environment in which to explore difficult or conflicting feelings.

Through embracing and affirming individuality, I provide a safe, authentic and nurturing environment whereby the counselling process can assist anyone to make positive changes, grow as a person and aid in reaching their potential. This is regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexuality or indeed any factor which gives us all our uniqueness.

We are all individuals with our own needs and when these aren’t met, we can sometimes lose our way in the muddle and confusion of modern life, we feel like we lose ourselves. Through counselling, I hope that you can be enabled to find yourself again and be the you that you want.

Some of the areas which I hold extensive experience and interest are:
